Welcome to Fempowerment!

Fempowerment was created after I spent a couple hours at the local BMV. As I sat there, I watched a family interact. The parents were older and the young boy was making his way around the waiting toom, saying hi to everyone in his path. After a minute, his dad started to get frustrated and asked the boy to "sit down and be quiet." The boy continued to wander until the frustrated dad threatened to spank him if he didn't stand still...which he didn't. Neither did he get spanked. As I watched the scene play out, I turned to the person in the seat next to me and said, "I think every parent should be required to take parenting classes. It's a tough job, and they don't give you a manual."

I support individuals, couples, and parents as they navigate relationships. My favorite part of Fempowerment is presenting workshops and seminars to large or small groups, sharing information and valuable tools I've learned over the years.
